Please note that our services are designed exclusively for fiction authors, including writers of romance, fantasy, and more. At this time, we are unable to work with children's books and non-fiction projects such as poems or memoirs.

We strictly DO NOT work with authors who use AI in any aspect of their books, including the writing, cover design, character art etc.

  • Please get in touch and I can take a look at my diary. I do have spaces available and can be quite flexible.

  • Although my services are primarily aimed towards indie authors, I’m more than happy to work with hybrid and traditionally published authors too!

  • No, all packages are provided on a monthly retainer and billed on the first of each month to secure your slot and schedule for the month ahead.

    Should you wish to cancel your package or upgrade / downgrade to another, you must provide at least two weeks notice before the end of the next billed month.

  • If there is a service that you need and it is within my capabilities, please do reach out. My hours are billed at £20 for 1 hour of work and £15 for each subsequent hour. Payment must be made upfront.

  • The promotional services provided by Whimsy Words are intended to enhance the Author’s visibility, expand reader reach, and encourage engagement and book reviews. While these efforts are designed to improve overall exposure and awareness of the Author’s work, Whimsy Words makes no representations, warranties, or guarantees of any specific increase in book sales, revenue, or financial performance as a result of these services.

    Results may vary depending on external factors beyond Whimsy Words control, including market conditions, platform changes, reader interest, genre trends, and the Author’s independent marketing efforts.

  • Campaigns unfortunately do not always guarantee reviews from every reader who received the book. There can be a number of factors which can affect a reader reviewing including but not limited to; they DNF the book, unforeseen circumstances which meant they could not read it, or they simply have just not got round to reading it just yet. While I understand how disheartening this can be for an author, unfortunately things out of our control do happen and we have to respect a readers choice as to whether they leave a review or not.

    One week post campaign I send out a Google Form where readers fill in the form with their review or post links. Not everyone does so, and sometimes you may even see a review online that was not submitted into the form. I do keep the form open.

    Please note, giving away free review copies and/or ARCs does not guarantee reviews in return. Although a reader agrees to leave a review, they are under no legal or binding obligation to leave one. Should a member of my influencer team repeatedly sign up and not review, they will be removed off my list and their space given to another reader. Where the sign ups go public, some of these readers are not in my influencer list, and all I can do is add them to my rejection list, meaning they will not be permitted to partake in future campaigns.
